"THD Slide FAST for Anolift" is an online course dedicated to the in-depth study of the THD Doppler surgical technique for the minimally invasive treatment of haemorrhoidal disease.

During the course, the cornerstones of the THD Doppler method are reiterated: arterial overflow reduction and prolapse correction.

The prolapse correction is proposed using the THD Slide device in combination with a self-locking suture; their joint use allows the realisation of the mucopexy already described in the literature with the term "Anolift". *

The course is addressed both to those who want to gain understanding of the THD Doppler method and to those who are already practicing the THD method and want to deepen the proposition introduced with Anolift.

The Course Tutor Dr. Pasquale Giordano is Consultant Surgeon and Pelvic Floor Clinical Lead at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust and Honorary Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London.

Dr. Giordano has a very long experience within the field of coloproctology and has numerous scientific articles published in the most prestigious international journals.

Some of his areas of specialization are colorectal surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, treatment of bowel cancer, pelvic floor disorders, faecal incontinence and treatment of rectal prolapse and haemorrhoidal disease.

His solid international reputation, the publication of numerous scientific studies and the direction of conferences and live surgeries in several countries have made him one of the world's leading experts in these fields.
