XI Course on Update and Training on Colorectal Surgery, 15-17 February 2023, Barcelona

From 15 to 17 February THD was in Barcelona to participate in the 11th Course on Update and Training on Colorectal Surgery.

From 15 to 17 February THD was in Barcelona to participate in the 11th Course on Update and Training on Colorectal Surgery. The event was dedicated to the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of several colorectal disorders and related complications.

The course stood out for its scientific and educational value and saw the participation of prominent experts in the field.

On 15 February, the symposium “Perspectives in Anal Intraepithelial Dysplasia” given by Dr. Sebastiano Biondo, Prof. Cavazzoni and Dr. Igor Sirovich, 3 renowned colorectal surgeons and lecturers, proved a great success. It was an important opportunity to present the latest innovations in the early screening and advanced treatment of HPV related anal lesions.

In this respect, on 17 February during a dedicated training session, Prof. Cavazzoni illustrated the advantages THD® HRStation, the new integrated proctological platform for the diagnosis and treatment of Anal Intraepithelial Neoplasia (AIN).

Likewise, on 16 February great interest was shown for the live surgery performed by Dr. Biondo and Dr. Doménico Fraccalvieri to present two well-known minimally invasive procedures: THD® Doppler for Anolift for the treatment of haemorrhoids and THD SphinKeeper® for the treatment of faecal incontinence.

THD was there to present the advantages of its minimally invasive techniques and dedicated devices.
