THD Webinars in April

In April THD organized 3 online courses dedicated to different diagnostic and surgical procedures.

In the month of April THD organized 3 online courses dedicated to different diagnostic procedures: one webinar dedicated to High Resolution Anoscopy given by Prof. Emanuel Cavazzoni, one webinar on EAUS by Dr. Marco La Torre, and one webinar on Clinical Anorectal Manometry held by Dr. Alex Leo. 

On 3 April, during a dedicated course, Prof. Cavazzoni explored High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) and its different applications. The course focused in particular on the identification of anal intraepithelial lesions and on their marking with acetic acid and Lugol as well as on the assessment of the degree of dysplasia and the electrosurgical treatment of lesions. 

While on 4 April, Dr. La Torre explored the applications of ultrasound imaging of the pelvic floor. During the course, Dr. La Torre showed the advantages of transanal ultrasound imaging performed with THD® EAUS ultrasound probe. 

On 17 April, Dr. Leo illustrated the advantages of Clinical Anorectal Manometry for the precise assessment of anal sphincters functionality and presented the steps of anorectal manometry performed with THD® Anopress. 

In April 2023 THD webinars saw the participation of 22 surgeons from different countries.
