THD Webinars in July

In July THD organized 6 online courses dedicated to different diagnostic and surgical procedures.

In July THD organized 2 courses dedicated to the THD® Doppler procedure held by Dr. Giordano and Dr. Sinacer, 1 on endoanal ultrasound imaging by Dr. La Torre, 2 on High Resolution Anoscopy by Prof. Cavazzoni and Dr. Sirovich and 1 dedicated to Clinical Anorectal Manometry held by Dr. Alex Leo.

During the 2 webinars on the THD® Doppler surgical technique, both addressed to foreign surgeons, Dr. Pasquale Giordano and Dr. Sinacer explored the technical steps of the THD® Doppler method and presented the THD® Anolift technique.

While on 13th July during the endoanal ultrasound imaging course, Dr. Marco La Torre illustrated the features of endoanal ultrasound imaging of the pelvic floor and its different applications. During the course Dr. La Torre showed features and advantages of this examination performed with the THD® EAUS ultrasonic probe that allows for a complete and detailed view of the pelvic floor and sphincter muscles.

On 8th July, during a webinar addressed to foreign doctors, Dr. Alex Leo focused on Clinical Anorectal Manometry for the precise assessment of the anal sphincters and rectum functionality. Dr. Leo presented the basic steps of this examination performed with THD® Anopress, the portable anorectal manometer with a dedicated software and single-use probes designed to be used in combination with it.

In the same month Prof. Emanuel Cavazzoni and Dr. Sirovich explored High Resolution Anoscopy and its different applications during dedicated webinars addressed to Italian and foreign surgeons. The courses focused on the identification of anal intraepithelial lesions and their marking with acetic acid and Lugol, biopsies, assessment of the degree of dysplasia, electrosurgical treatment and precise mapping of lesions as well as on digital archiving for visual comparison of lesions and subsequent follow-up.

In July THD webinars saw the participation of 46 surgeons from different countries.
